It has been a zero energy week, and even less energy this weekend. I also had a tussle with my Dill in Purple. I’ve re-done the middle section several times and it still isn’t right, SO I’m setting it aside for now and getting on with Novelette – Floor Length in Grey.
I’m not mad about it, I have these kinds of weeks frequently. I know it will all come good and I’ll get a burst of problem-solving energy at some point and think of a potential fix for it while monkey-brain is occupied with a new shiny project.
No, I haven’t forgotten about Oversized Hug/Peach Blossom – IN GREY. I left it for a bit too long while a lot of other things were distracting me and I know I’ll need to expend some brain power to figure out exactly how I picked up for the first sleeve, and I just KNOW I can’t spare it right now.. I am looking forward to seeing it finished so it’s in my mental queue, poking at me so it won’t be forgotten.
The weather has turned quite cold and wet now in the UK. We’ve been fairly lucky so far, with the inevitable weather turn at this time of year, so again, not mad about it. It just means the lighter items I have on my list will have to wait until a couple of the warmer things are getting finished first. The idea is I can stay warm wearing the warmer things while I go back to something that will remind me of the warmer days – in theory anyway 😉
So, I plan that my post will be on time this Friday. See you then!
