Hello all
Another busy and rollercoaster week meant I only got a few hours in on Dill in Purple.
Sadly to make matters worse I will have to rip almost the whole work back – both sleeves. One I’ve done already.
I increased too fast and made the sleeves too wide, so I ran out of yarn before I could finish half of the “back”.
I left one intact to see the difference. I don’t know yet, but I could have enough for the back now. We will see. If not, I might have to abandon this and make a smaller shrug with a different pattern. Watch this space!
For the week coming, I’m itching to get started on the Novelette Cape, but I’m determined to finish the shrug first so it’s done and out of the way, and – most importantly – wearable! I WILL finish this week coming at some point, not least because this new sleeve seemed to go a lot faster.
The Oversized Hug has been poking at me as well, so we will see how it goes. I have to work Sunday so that will be a few hours knitting time lost – ah well..
Anyway, hopefully this week will be calmer
