Last week was another not-so-productive knitting week. I had some other things that needed doing, and I got them done but the end of the week has arrived and I’ve only managed to do a few inches of Forest Whispers. I also re-shuffled the projects around, but sadly the volume taking up room on my sofa is still around the same as it was! Nevermind, hah

It occurred to me I’d be better off identifying what projects I wanted to make (or try) before allocating any leftover yarn – or give up on the allocated jumper and dedicate the whole bag – to the cape. So I restructured my Ravelry List to tag the projects I need to do to have any leftovers for the cape… I think that’s the end goal as far as what I want to get done before November. There’s about nine to definitely get through first. We’re not even mid-September yet, I may not make it by November but I’m not worried. A couple of the jumpers may not have anything left over so I’ll make the decision when I get to them if I’ll make them or skip over them until later..

When I did the re-structure, I tagged four projects I’m allowing myself to make alongside the “before the cape” ones, as long as I spend about 2/3 of my time on those, it should all work out. This is supposed to be fun, right? 🙂

Plans for the week are to just plow through the list, and make sure I enjoy the process

Not a stunning update but I wanted to post nonetheless

Happy knitting/crocheting/sewing/ etc etc 🙂
